How we got engaged
We had taken off of work that Friday to spend the day together. Jeremy came over and cooked his famous pancakes for breakfast. We spend some time with Rylynn and then ate lunch at the Home Plate Diner in Bryant, AR, before going to the movies to see: Bad Teacher.
Jeremy had asked me to let him take me to Petit Jean Mountain, but I refused. We compromised and decided to go to Pinnacle Mountain in Little Rock, AR. We took Rylynn to Chuck E. Cheese's and played some games and ate Pizza. After we ate, Jeremy decided that, since I was wearing sandals, we would just go watch the sun set on the Big Dam Bridge in Little Rock, AR over the Arkansas River.
We arrived at the Big Dam Bridge and walked to the top. We found the perfect spot and sat on a bench. We watched the sun set over Pinnacle Mountain and just as the sun passed over the mountain, Jeremy asked me "what do you plan on doing the rest of your life?" I told him "this right here." And he dropped down on one knee and said "good, because I was hoping you'd marry me!"
I said "YES!!" I was so excited...so were the other pedestrians standing around.
